To register for N1 you need a minimum of Grade 10 pass Mathematics and Physical Science and preferably be working in a relevant industry, for N3 registration you need a Grade 12 pass with Mathematics and Physical Science.
Registration:
- Students register three times in the year (trimesters)

Duration:
- Three year diploma course -1 year (N4 - N6) Theory and 2 years Practical Experience
- Theory - 9 Months.
- Practical Experience (Learnership) - 24 Months
